Following the deadline for team submissions, the juries will assess the project outcomes and offer their comments.
Teams that excel will be recognized with award certificates, while all entrants will be given a certificate of participation.
The leading 3 teams will be awarded monetary bonuses: $1,000 for the Outstanding SDG Team, and $500 each for the Best Social Impact Team and the Most Innovative Team.
The best-performing teams will be invited to the China Finals, taking place in Beijing in August 2025, and will also be provided with financial support from the International Organizing Committee to aid their involvement.
Additionally, they will have the chance to receive an invitation to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum in April 2026.
For outstanding teams invited to the China Final Round in August 2025, participation requires the transformation of project outcomes into paper and poster formats. This process should adhere to the criteria and formats specified by the organizing committee for paper and poster presentations.
During this conversion process, it is essential to take into account the feedback and recommendations from the juries of the Qualifying Round. This will ensure that the project outcomes are not only profound but also of high quality.
The paper and poster presentations will serve as crucial materials during the on-site expert review session at the China Final Round. They will showcase the teams' initial project achievements and will be subject to further assessment by the experts. This is a key opportunity for teams to demonstrate the depth of their work and the potential of their solutions in a competitive setting.
